Reaper becomes a shadow for a short period of time. While in this form, he takes no damage and is able to pass through enemies and a slight speed increase, but cannot fire his weapons or use other abilities.

Details

Reaper moves faster and becomes intangible and invincible in this form: he gains the ability to pass through other players and is unaffected by enemies' attacks and debuffs. This ability also removes Reaper's target in Soldier: 76's Tactical Visor or McCree's Deadeye. Using this ability also replenishes Reaper's Hellfire Shotguns' ammo and sheds any debuffs on him. While in Wraith Form, Reaper cannot attack or use any other ability, but can manually cancel Wraith Form by tapping Primary Fire. However, Reaper is still able to contest points and receive healing and buffs from allied Mercy, Zenyatta, Lúcio, and Ana while in Wraith Form.

Patch changes

April 10, 2018 Patch: Move speed bonus increased from 25% to 50%. You can now cancel the ability by pressing the Shift or Primary Fire hotkey.  May 23, 2017 Patch: Ammo is now entirely refilled when Wraith Form is used.  August 2, 2016 Patch: Fixed a bug that caused Ana’s Biotic Grenade to miss an allied Reaper while in Wraith Form.
