Sound Barrier

Details[]

Lúcio provides a temporary shield of 750 HP to teammates within 30 meters and in Lúcio's line of sight, provided they are not behind an enemy barrier. It will rapidly decay at the rate of 125 HP per second, causing the effect to last 6 seconds at most. The decaying shield acts like normal health and will be the first to sustain any damage.

When activating this ability, Lúcio jumps into the air slightly, then pounds the ground with his Sonic Amplifier. The effect is not activated until Lúcio hits the ground; if Lucio is killed before touching the ground, the ultimate will be wasted.

When activating Sound Barrier, Lúcio players on the enemy team will shout "Vamos esculachar!" while allied and player-controlled Lúcio will shout "Oh, let's break it down!"

Trivia[]

During the seasonal brawl Lúcioball, this ability is replaced by Turbo Boost.
Prior to the April 10, 2018 patch, the hostile activation quote was "Let's drop the beat!"
