Bastion switches between Configuration: Recon and Configuration: Sentry. Switching from Recon to Sentry takes 1 second, but switching from Sentry to Recon takes 0.5 seconds.
If Bastion transforms into and stay in Recon configuration more than the reloading time of Sentry configuration, its Sentry configuration will automatically reload, the ammunition will be full the next time it transform back. It can be applied for Recon configuration when transforming from Recon to Sentry.
