God program is a colloquial name for a powerful A.I. that is capable of taking over computerized machinery.
God programs played a role in the Omnic Crisis by seizing control of omnics and omniums to attack humanity. Overwatch quarantined most, if not all, of these god programs after the crisis ended.

- Anubis: A malicious god program locked in the Giza Plateau. Anubis briefly broke free after it was quarantined in Mission Statement, but was stopped by Pharah and her squad of other Helix guards.
